We are brand new to organizing a 5K, will you help us get started?
Yes! We specialize in working with brand new race directors for nonprofit, religious and municipal organizations of all shapes and sizes (including schools and PTO’s!). Before starting our company we served as race directors ourselves and know the pressure you are under. We bring decades of experience to your event. We also provide a free step by step checklist for first time race organizers which will help guide you from the inception of your event right through race day!
What will it cost to time your event?
It will depend on the size and complexity of your event. We can get you a formal quote usually within 1-2 days and we never require a deposit and will bill you only after the completion of your event. Our cost always includes (at no extra charge) setting up your race registration website, race bibs, pins, an inflatable arch, finish line set up and clock, and backup Lynx Identilynx cameras. We also have a Starlink satellite dish to produce live results for every event.
How will people sign up for our race?
We will create at no extra charge a state of the art race registration website for on RunSignup. RunSignup is super easy to use and provides branding and domain options, built-in email tools for communicating with your participants, and free marketing features to help boost your event signups. It also includes lots of great fundraising features including the ability to display sponsor logos, set up donation/fundraising tabs and provide daily registration updates to race organizers.
We’d like to hire you but have unused chips from last year‘s race. What do we do?
Some timing companies require you to order your own electronic bib chips. This usually leads to ordering too many bib/chips and essentially requiring you to hire back the same timer the next year (and the year after that) so the old bib/chips are not wasted.
You shouldn’t be prevented from hiring a new timing company by being burdened with excess timing chips. We may be able to credit you for those unused bibs/chips. Let’s talk about it.
